Filmfare Award is one of the most prestigious awards the celebs get honoured with for their excellence and mind-blowing performances in the films. Due to coronavirus pandemic, since the theatres were shut down and so, the films were released digitally, this time Filmfare decided to honour the OTT content. The Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards 2020 took place recently in Mumbai, where celebs like Nora Fatehi, Jennifer Winget, and others dazzled in their gowns. While some made heads turn in their gorgeous gowns, there were a few who disappointed us with their not-so-wow numbers. So, let us take a look at their gowns, decode it, and find who impressed us and who couldn't.
Nora Fatehi In A Pink And White Layered Gown
For the award ceremony, Nora Fatehi was dressed like a Barbie doll in a strapless baby-pink and white gown, which came from the label Marchesa. Her voluminous gown was accentuated by multiple layers and high-low hemline. The matching broad band-type belt cinched her waist and added structure to her attire while the short train, added stylish quotient to her look. Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, she teamed her pretty gown with a pair of pointed silver heels and accessorised her look with matching earrings from Farah Khan's label. The diva let loose her side-parted heavy curls and spruced up her look with filled brows, kohled eyes, mascara, light-pink eye shadow, soft blush, and light-pink lip shade.
Jennifer Winget In A Shimmering Dark Green Gown
Jennifer Winget flaunted a sleeveless plunging-neckline dark-green gown by Surabhi Chopra and looked super stunning in it. Her body-hugging gown was accentuated by intricate checked patterns with shimmering accents. Styled by Natashaa Bothra, she completed her look with a pair of heels and upped her look with silver-toned earrings, rings, and bracelet from Divinus Creations. The actress let loose her mid-parted red highlighted layered tresses and elevated her look with filled pointed brows, kohled eyes, heavy mascara, shiny eye shadow, highlighted cheekbones, and light-pink lip shade.
Zareen Khan In A Red Cocktail Gown
For the award function, Zareen Khan was decked up in a sleeveless plunging-neckline bright-red gown, which was accentuated by sequin detailing on the neckline. Her cocktail gown featured body-hugging bodice and flared hem while the thin band-type belt added structure to her attire. The actress completed her look with a pair of heels and opted for silver-toned earrings, tassel-detailed wrist-piece, and black ring. She let loose her side-parted long layered tresses and wrapped up her look with pointed brows, kohled eyes, highlighted cheekbones, and pink lip shade.
Tripti Dimri In A Metallic Fishtail Gown
Trip Dimri donned a strapless black fishtail gown by Amit Aggarwal, which was accentuated by metallic silver striped patterns on the waist and tulle fabric flared hem. Her gown featured big bow-shaped red ruffled drape at the bottom of her legs that added dramatic quotient to her look. Styled by Who Wore What When, the actress accessorised her look with minimal jewellery from Jet Gems and let loose her fringes-detailed long wavy tresses. Subtle make-up marked by soft blush and bright red lip tint, rounded out her look.
Saiee M Manjrekar In Yellow Slit Gown
Saiee M Manjrekar wore a one-shoulder bright-yellow flared gown by Gavin Miguel, which featured cut-outs on the bodice and waist. The thigh-high side slit added stylish quotient to her look while the matching band-type knotted belt cinched her waist and added structure to her attire. Styled by Meagan Concessio, she completed her look with golden heels and notched up her look with a pair of studs from Darshanaa Sanjanaa Jewellers and rings and cuffs from Mahesh Notandass. The actress let loose her mid-parted sleek highlighted tresses and enhanced her look with sharp contouring marked by filled brows, highlighted cheekbones, and red lip shade.
Shriya Pilgaonkar In A Magenta Gown
Shriya Pilgaonkar arrived at the Filmfare OTT Awards ceremony in a sleeveless crew-neck magenta straight gown by Swatee Singh, which featured flared hem. Styled by Shreeja Rajgopal, the matching statement belt cinched her waist and added structure to her attire. The green-stone detailed earrings and pink nail paint, upped her look. She let loose her side-parted shoulder-length curly tresses and wrapped her look with filled brows, kohled eyes, light eye shadow, and glossy pink lip shade.
So, according to us, the divas who stood out the most in their gorgeous gowns were Nora Fatehi, Jennifer Winget and Shriya Pilgaonkar. On the other hand, Zareen Khan and Tripti Dimri highly disappointed us with their sartorial choices while Saiee M Manjrekar's gown game was average. It could have been a little better. So, whose gown did you like the most? Let us know that in the comment section.
