Move It Like Mumtaz: The Sexiest Way To Drape A Saree
Mumtaz was a very popular actress of the yesteryear. She began her career as a child in Vallah Kya Baat Hai, Stree and Sehra in the early 1960s and went on to act till 2010. She won the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Khilona in 1970, she also received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and was honoured for her "Achievements in Indian Cinema" by the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA). A successful woman indeed.

However, today we're discussing something entirely different. We're going to check out her look from the song Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyar Ke from the super-hit film Bramhachari. Yes, you must have guessed it, we're talking about her sexy saree draping technique! Who can forget the vision of her dancing and prancing about in that lovely golden-orange saree? She truly did make men weak in their knees!

The saree was draped several times around her hips, creating a very slimming figure that was enough to make her audience swoon. The pallu which is usually used to cover the breasts was pleated so narrow that it made its way in between the breasts, making her torso look like a percentage symbol! We can't get our eyes off her, can you?

This form of saree draping is super popular even today with several women wearing it to parties and weddings. Fashion designers have had their models strutting up and down the runway in this delectable style. We believe that this trend is definitely here to stay! Cheers to you, Mumtaz! A true Bollywood fashion icon to look up to!
