After the event, Kiara thanked Hyderabad for the love and energy she received during the promotions and also thanked Manish Malhotra for creating the saree. The designer has been closely involved with Kiara's costumes for her character Nadia in Toxic.

At the event, Kiara also spoke about director Geetu Mohandas, crediting her for seeing something in her and giving her the freedom to bring Nadia to life. Yash, meanwhile, praised Kiara's performance and expressed confidence that audiences would fall in love with her all over again.

The Hyderabad Event Takes An Unexpected Turn

The celebratory event was briefly disrupted when a speaker structure collapsed near the crowd, leaving four people injured, according to later reports. Cyberabad Police subsequently registered a case against the management of Malla Reddy University and the event manager.

Yash also paused his speech following the incident and urged people who had climbed onto elevated structures to come down.

Despite the disruption, Kiara's black saree became one of the most striking fashion moments from the 'Toxic' promotions. With its velvet drape, sheer lace, emerald jewellery and sleek styling, the look offered a dramatic new take on the classic saree just as the much-awaited film heads to theatres.
