At the age of 61, Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt in an intimate registered ceremony at his residence in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai, on July 5, 2026. The wedding was attended by close family members, friends, and their children. But did you know that Aamir gifted his wife a stunning ruby ring? It isn't just any piece of jewellery, its rare gemstone and remarkable craftsmanship have made it one of the most talked-about details from the wedding.

According to multiple reports, the ring was crafted by QWEEN, a luxury jewellery startup that positions itself as India's first experiential jewellery brand. Reports also state that Aamir Khan is an investor in the company alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
This wedding ring features:
- A natural cabochon-cut ruby sourced from Madagascar.
- The ruby sits on a gold coronet (crown)-inspired setting.
- It is surrounded by 40 natural diamonds.
- The gemstone reportedly took over three months to source.
What Makes The Wedding Ring Special?
According to QWEEN, the Madagascar ruby belongs to an exceptionally rare quality category. The brand claims that less than 0.1% of rubies possess these characteristics. Moreover, it is a natural, not lab-grown, ruby with a cabochon cut rather than the more common faceted finish.
The brand also states that the ring required more than 256 hours from concept to completion, including designing, stone sourcing, gold work, diamond setting, polishing, and finishing. It was reportedly brought to life with the contribution of 131 artisans, making it a truly intricate piece of craftsmanship.
The ring also features:
- A high-domed bombé signet silhouette.
- A crown-inspired gold gallery supporting the ruby.
- Fine milgrain detailing commonly associated with heirloom jewellery.
- A design that aims to evoke a regal, timeless aesthetic rather than a conventional solitaire engagement ring.

Interestingly, this isn't the first bespoke piece of jewellery Aamir Khan has reportedly gifted Gauri Spratt. According to reports, he had earlier presented her with a custom-made aquamarine ring from the same brand. It featured a rare aquamarine sourced from Brazil and was accented with 40 natural diamonds.
