Atsu Sekhose: This Delhi-based designer graduated from NIFT, New Delhi in 2001. Apprenticed with one of India’s leading fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and Spanish high street brand ZARA for a couple of years before launching his eponymous label ‘ATSU’ in late 2006. Atsu’s profile boasts of being featured by Elle magazine as the rising star of Indian fashion, invitation to showcase at Tranoi, paris, Vogue also profiled him as the most promising designer to watch out for.
About the brand: Since his 2007 spring /summer debut, the brand has grown immensely and received wide accolade domestically. Primarily known for his chic, feminine and understated clothing Atsu’s line has evolved into a complete ready-to-wear collection which firmly holds his signature style and modern adaptation to classic silhouettes. His spring/summer 2009 collection bagged him the ‘best debut’ by Elle style awards and Vogue spotlighted his spring/summer 2009 as one of the strongest collections.
