Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Paneer- 250 gms
- Jeera seeds- 1tbsp
- Red Chilli- 4
- Urad dal- 1tbsp
- Chilli powder- 1tsp
- Curry Leaf- few
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Oil- 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- You first need to add oil to a pressure cooker which is kept on a low flame.
- When the oil is hot, drop in the jeera seeds. Now saute the jeera seeds in the hot oil and allow them to splutter well.
- After a minute, add in the urad dhal, the red chilli and curry leaves. Now fry the ingredients well in the hot oil.
- Now add in the chopped onion. Fry the onions well in the oil till they turn golden brown in colour.
- Now add in the chilli powder and saute the mixture for about 3 minutes or so.
- Then, add in the paneer to the pan and fry it gently.
- Now add the salt and water. Cover the cooker with a light lid and let it cook in the steam for about 5 minutes or so.
- Now let the water in the paneer dry completely before turning the flame off.
