PANEER PASAND
Ingredients:
250gms Paneer
2tbsp Cream
3tbsp Cornflour
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For the Filling :
2tbsp Kaju Pieces
1 Cup Coriander Leaves, Chopped
4 Green Chilies
1" piece Ginger
4 Cloves Garlic
For the Gravy :
1tsp Cashew pieces
1 Cup Curds
6 Badam/Almonds
2 Onions
3 Tomatoes, Pureed
4 Red Chilies
1tsp Jeera
3tbsp Ghee
50gms Paneer
METHOD :
Make long slices of Paneer. Make a paste of Corn flour using "' Cup water. Grind the ingredients for the filling to a paste. Take a slice of Paneer and spread the mixture on it, cover with another slice. Dip in Corn flour mixture and deep-fry till golden brown, remove and keep aside.
Grind Cashew pieces, skinned Almonds, Onions, Red Chilies and Jeera to a paste. Heat Ghee, add the Masala paste and the Tomato Puree and fry till all the moisture evaporates. Now add Curds, Paneer, Salt and remaining filling mixture and mix. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove to a serving dish and add the fried Paneer and garnish with Cream and serve.
