Ingredients:
1 Kg Spinach, Cleaned and Chopped
"' Cup Gram Flour
1" piece Ginger
1tsp Cumin Seeds
A pinch of Asafoetida
7 - 8 Cloves of Garlic
Salt to taste
1tsp Coriander Seeds
1tsp Turmeric Powder
7 - 8 Black Pepper
2 - 3 Cloves
1tsp Red Chili Powder
2tbsp Mustard Oil
METHOD :
Boil Spinach and grind to a paste. Grind Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper, Cloves and Red Chili powder with little water to a paste. Heat Oil, add Gram Flour and fry until the Flour turns into deep brown. Add the Masala paste and fry until the moisture evaporates. Now, add Spinach paste and 3 cups of water. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes stirring continuously. Serve hot with Rice.
