Errisheri is a typical Kerala recipe. This is the blend of the all the spices and is very healthy. The main ingredient that we use is the pumpkin. Erreshery is basically similar to a sambar recipe.
Errisheri is a very easy recipe, though it is similar to a sambar recipe, there are no lentils that is added to it. The recipe tastes best with rice.

For this festive season, here is what you need to eat as, this recipe is healthy and tasty.

Serves - 3
Cooking time - 15 min
Preperation time - 15 min
Ingredients :
- Pumpkin - chopped ( about 200 gms )
- Coconut - 1 cup ( grated )
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli - 4 to 5
- Mustard - 1/4 tbsp
- Salt
- Red chilli powder
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Oil
Raksha Bandhan Special: Sweet Pumpkin Halwa Recipe
Procedure:
- In a pressure cooker add the chopped pumpkin, chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Pressure cook it for two whistles.
- In the mixy jar, add coconut (grated), cumin seeds and green chilli. Make a smooth paste.
- In a pan add oil, mustard seeds red chilli, curry leaves.
- Then, add the cooked pumpkin and the ground coconut mixture. Saute it well.
- Add salt to taste. Cook it until it boils.
- Saute it well.
- Add coriander leaf.
- Hot errisheri is ready to serve.
