Jaggery Paratha Recipe For Kids
Kids are fussy eaters and there is no doubt about that. It becomes a real hindrance when a mother has to ask her little one each morning what they would love to eat for breakfast. This being an important meal of the day, as a parent you need to ensure that your child is pampered with something he/she likes. Gur/jaggery is one such ingredient that most kids enjoy. Therefore, this jaggery paratha recipe for kids is a must try.
This jaggery paratha recipe for breakfast is not that difficult for you to try out early morning. All you need are the ingredients in the right measure.

Ingredients
- Wheat flour - 2 cup
- Jaggery - 1 cup (crushed)
- Almonds - 20 (powdered, crushed)
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Green Cardamom - 3 (peel and crushed)
- Salt to taste
- Water - 1 cup
Procedure
- The first step to make jaggery paratha is to knead the wheat flour. Pour a little water into the wheat flour and make it into a soft dough. When done, keep it aside.
- Now add the jaggery, powdered almonds, ghee and cardamom into a bowl. Mix all the ingredients until it turns into a thick paste.
- To the above mixture, add a little salt. Now keep the mixture aside.
- With the soft dough, prepare small balls with your hands. Roll out the dough. Flatten the paratha and take one tablespoon of jaggery and place it in the middle of the flattened dough.
- Using the rolling pin flatten the mixture into the dough, and make sure the jaggery has blended well with the dough.
- Place a flat pan over the stove on a medium flame.
- Now place the flattened dough onto the pan and fry it with a little ghee. Flip the sides of the jaggery paratha until it turns a golden brown colour.
Your jaggery paratha is now ready to eat. Enjoy this lovely sweet breakfast when hot.
