Healthy Corn Idli Recipe For Toddlers
Corn is one of those few ingredients most kids love. To make this morning a special one for them, try out this yummy and easy corn idli recipe. The best thing about this treat is that even the old folk in your home can indulge into it with ease.
This ingredient is also healthy for your growing tots. It has a lot of protein and nutrients enough to make your day seem bright and energetic.

Ingredients
- Corn - 1 1/2 cups
- Urad Dal - 3/4 cup
- Roasted Bengal Gram Dal - 1 tblsp
- Green Chilli - 5
- Coconut - 2 tblsp, grated
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - 1 tsp, chopped
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure
1. First you need to soak the corn and urad dal in water for about 2 hours.
2. After the time limit, drain out the excess of water and grind it along with the roasted bengal gram and green chillies.
3. Make sure you grind these ingredients smoothly.
4. When done, mix a little salt and grated coconut with the batter. Using a flat spoon, stir these ingredients well.
5. Now pour oil in a pan and sprout the mustard with asafoetida.
6. Make sure to mix it along with finely chopped coriander leaves to the batter. Stir these ingredients well. Your batter is now ready to make the yummy corn idlis.
7. Begin by pouring the batter in idli plates and then steaming it in a cooker.
