Fried Paneer Roti Roll Recipe
There are many roll recipes that you can try on weekends. They are filling, easy to eat (especially when you are walking on the footpath) and delicious too! Paneer roti roll is one of the popular roll recipes that is very widely prepared in every Indian household.
Paneer roti roll is an easy to prepare recipe and tastes yummy! However, you might have tried the paneer stuffing wrapped roti roll. How about trying a new recipe with paneer roti rolls? As it is Monsoon, you would be tempted to have something fried. So fried paneer roti roll recipe can be tried in Monsoon to treat your taste buds. The fried paneer roti rolls recipe is simple and very similar to the roti roll. The only difference is that the roti roll is fried and is crisp. In short, fried paneer roti rolls look more like paneer spring rolls. Take a look at the recipe.
Fried Paneer Roti Roll Recipe:

Serves: 4-5
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 45-50 minutes
Ingredients
- Paneer cubes- 1 cup
- Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
- Sweet corns- 2tbsp
- Green chillies- 3-4 (chopped)
- Tomato- 1 (chopped)
- Garlic- 6-7 pods (minced)
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Tomato sauce- 1tbsp
- Green chilli sauce- 1tbsp
- Lemon juice- 1tsp
- Thai rice papers- 10-12
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1 cup
Procedure
- Heat 1tbsp oil in a frying pan. Season with cumin seeds.
- When the seeds start to splutter, add onions, garlic and green chillies. Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder. Saute on a medium flame for about 3-4 minutes.
- Now add the tomatoes, red chilli powder, sweet corns, tomato and green chilli sauce. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and mix well so that it crumbles. Cook for 4-5 minutes on a medium flame. Add lemon juice and keep the stuffing aside and let it cool.
- Soak one Thai rice paper after another in water for about 5 seconds and then place it on a clean towel till it becomes soft.
- Place the stuffing in the center of the rice paper. Cover with another rice paper and close the corners or ends with water. Wrap it like a roll. Repeat the same process with the remaining papers and stuffing.
- Now heat the remaining oil in a frying pan. Deep fry the paneer roti rolls in oil till it turns golden and looks crisp.
Fried paneer roti rolls are ready to eat. Serve them hot with tomato ketchup.
