Vasant Panchami Special: Bread Gulab Jamun Recipe
Like every other festival in India, Vasant Panchami also has its own charm. Needless to say that festivity in India is just incomplete without the touch of sweetness.

Though sweets are readily available in the markets, yet the charm and the touch of love that you put in the food made at home has no match. Therefore, we advise you to welcome the king of seasons with something sweet prepared by you.
Today, we will guide you on how to make bread gulab jamuns. You must be wondering, how this sweet recipe would taste. We assure you there is nothing to worry about. This is a quick and succulent sweet recipe that you can make for your family on Vasant Panchami.

Serves:4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
All you need
Milk bread- 7-8 slices
Milk powder- 2tbsp
Milk- ½ cup
Rose essence- a drop
Oil- for deep frying
Sugar- ½ cup
Water- ½ cup
Green cardamoms- 2-3 (crushed)

Procedure
1.Trim the edges of the bread slices with a knife and keep it aside.
2.Heat water in a broad pan and add the sugar. Allow it to melt completely.
3.Once the sugar melts, add the crushed cardamoms and boil the syrup for another 2-3 minutes and switch off the flame.
4.Meanwhile dip the bread slices in milk and squeeze lightly the excess milk from the slices.
5.Grind these bread slices with milk powder in mixer till it becomes smooth.
6.Make small balls out of this mixture. Make sure the balls are smooth and no cracks are formed.
7.Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and fry these balls till they become brown on all the sides.
8.Transfer these jamuns to the warm sugar syup and dip them properly with the help of a spoon.
9.Once they become soft, you can serve with ice cream or accompaniment of your choice.

Tip
Make sure you fry the balls on very low flame otherwise they won’t get cooked from inside.
