Sevai/ Seviyan recipe-
Ingredients
2 cups sevai (vermicelli)
1/2 cup khoya (burnt milk)
5 1/2 cups milk
cardamom powder
1/4 cup raisins and sliced cashew nuts
1/4 cup sliced almond
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp ghee
Directions to make Seviyan recipe-
1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the sevai till it turns golden-brown.
2. Boil milk and khoya into it. Stir and put it in low flame for 30 minutes to make it condensed.
3. Add sugar, and stir for 3-4 minutes. Now add the fried sevai and mix well.
4. Add more boiled milk to increase consistency.
5. Garnish with cardomom powder, raisins, almonds and cashew nuts.
Sevai/ Seviyan Ramadan recipe is ready. Serve it hot or chilled.
