Recipe Of Misti Doi

Bengali sweets and sweet dishes have always been appreciated in and across India. You may find all kinds of Bengali sweet dishes all over India but one thing which is found only in Kolkata is Mishti Doi – Sweet Yogurt. Go through the following recipe and make Mishti Doi at your home.
Ingredients
Milk – 1 Lt
Yogurt – 3 to 4 Tbsp
Sugar - 250 Gms
Method
1.Put the milk on low flame and boil it till it reduces to half the volume. Keep stiring the milk to avoid scorching.
2.When done let it cool to luke warm.
3.On another pan put the sugar, put it on flame and let the sugar caramelize.
4.When done, add the milk to the caramelized sugar and stir well till it has mixed well.
5.Pour it in an earthenware container and leave it to set in a warm dark spot.
6.Leave it there for one night and next day it is ready to be served.
