Father's Day 2021: Mango Rabdi Recipe That Your Father Will Love
This Fathers Day, treat the most important man in your life with a sweet delight. There are a lot of sweets your dad might like, but this seasonal fruit, mango, should be on your top list. Mangoes are rich in proteins and nutrients, therefore, your dad will enjoy the mango rabdi sweet dish. This mango rabdi recipe is not only easy to make but also tremendously healthy.
To make the mango rabdi recipe, the main ingredient which you need is mangoes. Make sure that you only use sweet mangoes to prepare this dish in order for the recipe to come out well. Mango rabdi is also loved by kids, so do not hesitate to treat your little ones too.

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 16 minutes
Ingredients
- Whole milk - 2 1/2 cups
- Juicy ripe mango pieces - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup or as required
- Pistachio - 5-6
- Almonds - 4
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Saffron - 4 small strands
Procedure
- Soak the almonds in hot water for around 20 minutes. You have to remove the skin and cut it into thin slices. Chop the pistachios into small pieces so that it looks neat when used.
- Now soak saffron in a little warm milk. The cut mangoes blend well in a mixer with a little milk to make a thick paste.
- Boil the milk till it reduces to half the quantity left in the bowl. Add in the sugar and let it dissolve in the milk over a low flame. Remove from flame and let it cool.
- After it cools, add the mango puree, powdered cardamom, chopped pistachio, almonds and saffron. Refrigerate it and serve chilled.
