Aata Halwa
Aata Halwa, is a Indian sweet dish originating from the land of five rivers, Punjab. This sweet dish is famous all over India and is served Gurudwara, as the offering from God. The dish is rich in taste and also has nutritional values. Aata Halwa, is said to be a good source of energy.

Ingredients

Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
Sugar – 1 Cup
Ghee – 4 Cups
Water - 1 Cup
Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
Cashew Nut – Optional

Method

In a pan heat the ghee over medium flame.
Add flour to the ghee and stir till it gets golden brown.
In another vessel, caramelize the sugar in water. Add the cardamom in the water.
As soon as the flour turns brown, add the caramelized water and stir well.
Keep stiring till the time ghee leaves separates from the mix.
After it is done, serve hot with cashew garnishing.
