Choconut Ice Cream
Ingredients:
3 Cups Milk
2tbsp Vanilla Ice Cream Powder
3tbsp Plain Cocoa Powder
' Cup Sugar
' Cup Praline Mixture
1tbsp Liquid Glucose
¼ tsp G M S (A type of powder)
250gms Cream
For the Praline Powder :
' Cup Almonds or Cashew nuts
¾ Cup Sugar
Method:
For the Praline Powder :
Melt the Sugar and Nuts together in a heavy saucepan and cook on a low flame until rich brown in color. Spread the mixture on a tin. When cold, powder coarsely. Store in an air tight jar.
For the Ice Cream :
Boil the milk for 10 minutes. Dissolve Vanilla Ice Cream Powder in 2tbsp Milk and add to boiling Milk along with Liquid Glucose, G.M.S and Cocoa and cook till dissolved. Remove it from fire and cool. Add Vanilla essence. Put in the Ice Cream box and set at the coldest overnight or till set. When fully set, remove and blend in a liquidizer. Mix Cream and Praline mixture to it and freeze it at normal temperature.
