Although Diwali is the festival of sweets, desserts and special delicacies, some tangy, health and spicy starters will bring a good start to the royal meal. Today, we are to present a recipe that can be easy starters to make on the sister brother celebration. Take a look to know how to go about with the Panna Pakodi Recipe.

Panna Pakodi - A Pakora recipe which is then soaked In curds

INGREDIENTS :

  1. 1tsp Mustard Seeds
  2. 2tsp Roasted and Ground Cumin Seeds
  3. ' tsp Black Salt
  4. 2 Cups Curds
  5. 2 tsp Oil
  6. 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
  7. Mint leaves

For the Pakodi :

  1. 1 Cup Rice Flour
  2. 1 Cup Gram Flour
  3. 2 tbsp Bengal Gram
  4. 1 tsp Ajwain
  5. A pinch of Soda
  6. 2 tbsp Curd
  7. Oil for Deep-frying

Vegetable Pakora Method:

1. For Panna Pakoras, make a batter with rice flour, bengal gram, curd, ajwain, soda, chopped onions, chopped mint leaves and Salt. Keep aside the batter for 2 hours. Heat oil and make pakoras from the batter and deep-fry till they turn brown. Remove and keep aside.

Panna Pakodi Method:

Heat Oil, add Mustard Seeds and when they splutter, add Curds and keep stirring. Now, add the Pakora's and cook on low flame for 3 minutes. Remove to a serving tray and garnish with Cumin Powder and Black Salt.
