Moong Dal Kachori: Navratri Recipe

Moong dal ki kachori, Navratri recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup maida
1/2 cup moong dal
2 grated red chillies
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Cardamom
1 small pinch hing (asafoetida)
garam masala
2 Cloves
1/2 piece Cinnamon
Oil
salt
Directions to make Dal ki kachori, Navratri recipe:
1. Soak moong dal overnight. Drain water and grind it to make a thick rough paste.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add hing, cumin seeds. Now pour the thick paste and fry it.
3. Add salt, garam masala, red chilli powder, grated red chillies, cloves to the paste and saute till it becomes golden brown.
4. Add cardamom powder and mix. Take it off flame and let it cool.
5. Make a dough of maida and lukewarm water. Add a pinch of salt and a tsp of ghee to make a smooth dough. Make small puris and add the fried dal stuffing. Join all the corners and slowly make round kachoris again.
6. Heat oil in a pan and fry these kachoris till it becomes brown in color.
Moong dal ki kachori, Navratri recipe is ready. Serve it hot with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
