Delectable Murgh Malai Kebab Recipe
Don't you love the feeling of the chicken slowly melting in your mouth? Ah! What a bliss it is to eat the melt-in-mouth kebabs on a rainy afternoon. How nice it would be if you could make it in your own kitchen. After all, nothing can be more tasty than homemade kebab.
Today we have a delectable kebab recipe which is sure to soothe your taste-buds. This kebab recipe is low on spice and is a perfect treat for the kids too. It is known as the murgh malai kebab as it is prepared with a lot of cream and other dairy products. This kebab recipe can be easily prepared with or without an oven.

Preparation time: 3½ hours
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken- 500gms (cut into medium size)
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Skewers
First Marinade
- Ginger-garlic paste- 2tbsp
- White pepper powder- 1tsp
- Unripe papaya paste- ½ cup
- Salt- as per taste
Second Marinade
- Khoya- 4tbsp
- Green chillies- 2
- Coriander leaves- 1tbsp (chopped)
- Javitri (mace) powder- ½ tsp
- Jaiphal (nutmeg) powder- ½ tsp
- Cornflour- 2tsp
- Fresh cream- ½ cup
- Thick yogurt- ½ cup
- Salt- as per taste
Procedure
1. Wash and clean the chicken pieces and pat dry on a kitchen towel.
2. Take the chicken in a mixing bowl and add the unripe papaya paste, salt, ginger-garlic paste to it.
3. Mix well and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, take the chicken out of the refrigerator and keep it aside.
5. Grind the green chillies and coriander leaves together in a mixer without adding water.
6. Add this paste to the chicken.
7. The add khoya, javitri powder, jaiphal powder, salt, cornflour, fresh cream and yogurt to the chicken.
8. Mix well and keep this aside for another 3 hours.
9. After that put the chicken pieces on skewers and fry them on a tawa till they are golden brown and cooked from inside. Cook it on low flame.
10. If you are using oven, then Preheat oven to 220 degrees C in grill mode for 10 mins. Take a baking sheet and place aluminum foil sheet.
11. Take the skewer rods and insert the chicken pieces. Keep it on top rack of oven and set the timer to 10 mins.
12. After 10 minutes, take out the chicken from the skewers and serve.
Murgh malai kebab is ready to be served. Just sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice over the kebab and serve it with mint chutney.
