Crispy Spinach Chicken Recipe
Crispy spinach chicken - the name itself sounds like a treat to the ears. Spinach is one of the best ingredients since it is highly nutritious. One serving of spinach contains 65 gms of protein and 10 gms of fat.
This leafy vegetable also contains high amounts of vitamins which are needed to keep our immunity levels high. Therefore, it is a must-have during the monsoon as your immunity tends to be lo during this season.
This delicious treat also has chicken which is a lean meat. For those who want to minimise the amount of calories they consume, chicken is the best meat to opt for as it contains around 35 percent of fat when compared to other meats.

Cooking Time: 18 minutes
You Will Need
Fried Boneless Chicken - 6 pieces
Spinach - 4 cups
Oil - for frying
Garlic - 4 tsp (chopped)
Sesame Seeds - 3 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Procedure
- Add oil in a deep frying pan. When hot, place a strainer in the pan. Drop in the spinach leaves and deep fry the spinach for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Deep fry the spinach till crisp.
- Remove the strainer with the spinach and drain the access oil on an absorbent paper.
- In a separate pan, add one tablespoon of oil. When hot, add garlic and sesame seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the fried spinach, sugar and salt to taste.
- Switch the flame and place the crispy spinach on a plate.
- Heat the fried boneless chicken and place it in the center of the serving plate.
- Drizzle the crispy spinach over the chicken and serve.
Nutrition Tip
This is not a healthy treat for those who want to lose weight. It contains a lot of oil since it is deep fried.
Tip
You can also add honey instead of sugar.
