What happens in most guy gang parties is that you pick up a truck load of drinks but everybody forgets the food. Drinking on empty stomach is bad so you need something to munch on and that is where this quick and easy chicken dish will come in handy. It is an Indian microwave recipe worth trying simply because it is hard to go wrong. The ingredients for this pepper chicken recipe too are few and common.

Ingredients For Black Pepper Chicken:

1. Chicken-500 grams (boneless cut into small pieces)
2. Onions-2 (paste)
3. Garlic-10 cloves (paste)
4. Bell pepper or capsicum-2 (chopped in big pieces)
5. Peppercorns-10
6. Cloves-5
7. Ground black pepper
8. Cumin power-2 teaspoons
9. Green chillies-5 (paste)
10. Vinegar-2 teaspoons
11. Olive Oil-2 tablespoons
12. Coriander leaves
13. Salt to taste

Procedure For Black Pepper Chicken:

  • Make a paste of onions, garlic and green chillies in the grinder.
  • Marinate the chicken with this paste, vinegar, ground pepper, cumin powder and salt. Leave it for about half and hour.
  • Meanwhile, chop the bell pepper and keep it ready.
  • Singe the pepper corns and cloves in the olive oil for 4-5 minutes on the maximum power of the microwave. This will make the flavours of these spices bleed into the oil.
  • Now take a grilling pan and arrange the chicken pieces and bell peppers on it. Pour the marinade over it and douse it with the oil you prepared.
  • Put this on the lower rack of the microwave grill and set the temperature at 640 degrees.
  • Let it cook for ten minutes. 6 minutes on one side and 4 on the other.
  • Don't over cook it because the chicken will lose its tenderness. The idea is to eat it mildly roasted.

Garnish your Black Pepper Chicken with fresh coriander leaves and onion rings and serve.
