Rani Mukerji's 'Suit' Disaster

Rani Mukerji was in a pant suit for the promo launch of 'Mardaani'. And now for the song launch of the movie too, Rani Mukerji was in a pant suit that did not 'suit' her at all. Looked like Ms Chopra has made pants and jackets her preferred style these days. It could have something to do with the fact that Rani Mukerji plays a very masculine role in 'Mardaani'. So she is living up to the character of the movie by adapting her dressing style accordingly.

Rani Mukerji was in pant suit that comprised black trousers and a dove grey top and matching jacket. The entire ensemble looked bloated and heavy. The colour of the top was really nice but the design was faulty. It made an already overweight Rani look all the more heavy. Besides, loose-fitting pants are totally out of fashion. If Rani Mukerji has to be in a suit, she could have gone for cigarette pants.

Rani Mukerji's hairstyle and makeup mistakes made matters worse. She went for a high pony that made her face look pinched. The fringes were not styled properly and the deep berry coloured lips were too loud. Rani, we do so love to see you in sarees and suits. Being 'Mardaani' is just not your style.

The Grey Jacket Top

The grey top had darts in the front making Rani's tummy look more plump that it is. The jacket too fit her rather heavily making the ensemble look top heavy.

Loose Trousers

These loose fitting trousers are totally out of fashion. Cigarette pants could have lent some element of style to this disastrous ensemble.

Patent Black Heels

Patent leather back high heel pumps made the already failing look even more boring. Pointed high heels could have served the purpose in a better way.

Pinched Hairstyle

The severe high ponytail and mis-managed fringes made Rani Mukerji's face look pinched. She could have gone for soft curls or a half pinned hairstyle instead.

Neon Bangles

We quite like the stack of neon coloured bangles that Rani was wearing. Although it did not match the look, these bangles lent some element of colour to the ensemble.

Loud Makeup

Rani Mukerji's makeup can only be described in one word and that is 'loud'. The deep berry coloured lipstick was completely unnecessary with this outfit. She could have gone for soft nude shades or even a deep red lip colour could have worked.
