Rohit Shetty has one question for Love Gill: what, exactly, is ScoutOP to her?
On this week's Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 20, the filmmaker-host turns the spotlight on ScoutOP and Love Gill, and the evening is set to get tenser still when ScoutOP's girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, walks onto the stage. The episode airs tonight, Sunday 25 October, at 9pm on JioHotstar and 10:30pm on Colors TV.
Rohit Shetty Is Not Buying The Sibling Bond
In a promo released by JioHotstar, Rohit asks Love what Scout is to her. When she describes him as a brother, Rohit points to scenes of ScoutOP massaging her legs, hands and neck under a blanket. His verdict is short: "Love, voh theek nahi lag raha hai."
ScoutOP defends himself. He says he also massages fellow contestant Mahhi Vij when she asks. Rohit keeps pressing, and warns him about the impression the closeness is creating.
Rohit is hosting this week's episode in place of Salman Khan, and the promo suggests he has no intention of going easy. Viewers online largely backed his line of questioning, with several saying the host had finally said what the audience had been thinking. The exchange also reopens an old debate about where friendship ends and something else begins in the Bigg Boss house, where every touch, glance and late-night conversation is replayed for millions
Kaashvi Takes The Stage
The second promo is the one drawing the most attention. Rohit calls Kaashvi to the stage, surprising the housemates, and she questions Love's behaviour towards ScoutOP. The line being widely shared is her admission that it "makes me feel disgusted".
The promo does not show what prompted that remark or how ScoutOP responded. The full episode will show the context.
How The House Got Here
The tension has been building for weeks. On 6 October, ScoutOP told Yung DSA he was unsure whether his view of Love was changing, after earlier calling her a sister-like figure. He also admitted feeling jealous when Love and Gullu flirted.
Viewers reacted sharply. Many pointed to the contradiction with his earlier description of Love, and others felt for his partner outside the house. ScoutOP, whose real name is Tanmay Singh, has spoken of a five-year relationship outside the show.
Inside the house, Amrapali Dubey and Kamya Punjabi also questioned the closeness. Kaashvi, a streamer known online as KaashPlays, had spoken in a livestream on 7 October. She said she was okay, was trying to handle things outside, and wished Scout well. Her tone on the Weekend Ka Vaar stage, going by the promo, is considerably firmer.
What We Know
A bond that one housemate calls sibling-like and the rest of the house reads very differently was always going to be tested on national television. Tonight, with a host who has said plainly that it does not look right and a partner who has stepped onto the stage, ScoutOP and Love Gill have to answer for it in front of the audience.
