LFW 14: Nupur Kanoi Enthralls With Gold
Day 5 of the Lakme Fashion Week started with a bang. The designs showcased on the ramp were just about perfect. Indian designer Nupur Kanoi, whose latest collection was in yellow, glistening gold and mustard colours, captivated the hearts and grabbed a lot of attention.
The fabrics used to bring out her collection were inspired from a strong textural foundation. Day 5 of LFW 2014 saw shades of sand red and strong colours which had a metallic feeling to it. The ramp was lit with a desert like feeling which gave one goosebumps since the designs were smoking hot.
The other thing about Nupur Kanoi's designs at LFW 2014 was the materials. From satin to smooth silk to even crepes, her collection was without a doubt the best on Day 5. The other aspect what we noticed on the ramp is the strong use of gatherings at the bodice and uncanny patterns planted in silver threads. Plunging necklines, thigh high slits and edgy threads were used to define Nupur Kanoi's collection at LFW 2014.
Being the Winter Festive collection, models were seen wearing mufflers around their neck as a secondary accessory to bring in the beauty of their outfits. All in all, her gold collection was the best for Day 5 as it added to the excitement of this prestigious fashion event, Lakme Fashion Week 2014.

There was a lot of gold seen on the ramp by designer Nupur Kanoi at LFW 2014.
Mufflers Or Scarfs
Since it is the Winter/Festive season, the designer styled it with gold mufflers or scarfs wrapped around the neck.
Shining Fabric
The shine in the fabric was a pleasant wake up call at the event.
Deep Canal Clevages
The deep cleavages which were seen on the ramp gave us goosebumps. The neckline is also highlighted with a satin neon white piping.
Peplum Tops
Peplum tops are a woman's favourite! The pant suit is another beauty to the collection.
The Coat
The focus on the coat was quite an appealing look. Love the way the skirt is paired with the short coat.
Too Much Of Shine
There was more than a lot of shine present on the ramp by designer Nupur Kanoi at LFW 2014.
Head Scarfs
Not only was the neck decked with scarfs, the head too had a cute wrap on scarf.

The brick coloured outfit of Payal Singhal's was revealing and totally appealing!
