Lara Dutta Sizzles In Gaurav Gupta & Elie Saab

Lara Dutta has been in news on the fashion circuit recently. After the former Miss Universe took a break from movies when she got pregnant, we have not seen much of her in the media glare. But the veteran model and actress is starting a reality show of her own. So Lara Dutta was spotted in a Gaurav Gupta gown while shooting the commercial for Miss Diva Universe show.

The gown that we spotted Lara Dutta in was pink in colour. This fushia pink colour really suited the model turned actor's complexion. The gown had a criss-cross bodice and a body hugging fitting. This sleeveless gown had sheer details in it. The neckline had sheer mesh to finish it. The waist also had portions of sheer mesh to make the outfit stand out. Apart from this, we could see golden embellishments placed sparsely on the gown.

Just a day back we had also seen Lara Dutta in an Elie Saab gown. Mahesh Bhupathi and his stunning wife Lara were spending some quality time together in Dubai while attending a photoshoot. Mrs Bhupathi tweeted a picture of the two in the golden city of Dubai. We instantly realised that Lara Dutta was wearing a Elie Saab halneck gown that was purple in colour.

During the Cannes Film Festival 2014, we saw several celebrities wear similar Elie Saab gowns from the same collection. Sonam Kapoor was one of the Indian celebrities to have worn a structured bodice gown from this designer label. Lara Dutta looked stunning in this purple gown and the golden box clutch completed the look beautifully. Her hair was curled and side swept into a thick cascading mass.

Of the two gowns, we like the Elie Saab better for sure. It is mainly because of the simple yet elegant styling that we like the second look better. Lara Dutta's look in the Gaurav Gupta gown was also praiseworthy but it did not match up to the Elie Saab.
