IIJW 2014: IIGJ Delhi Showcases Contemporary Designs
The IIJW 2014 which highlights the ramp saw a lot of colour when IIGJ-Delhi showcased their designs on the models. The aim of IIGJ is to mpart a high level of systematic education in jewellery design and it was clearly seen on the models who lit the ramp with the collection.
The team which draws inspiration from natural floral cascades made sure that each of these designs looked different in style and look. When closely looking at the accessories, you can make out they have been personally handcrafted in gold & silver.
The coloured stones on each of these beautiful creations at IIJW 2014 were remarkable. The pieces of jewellery has coloured stones of sapphires, rubies & Tanzanites. The main essence of the team's master pieces were of these stones but diamonds had a special place in making it look extra bright and charming.
GUESS WHO THE SHOWSTOPPER WAS FOR APALA?

What we loved most about the IIGJ collection at IIJW 2014 is the bridal pieces which were a combination of vintage cocktail and modern art. These extraordinary pieces have clean silhouettes which be teamed with modern and contemporary wear.
Moreover, most of these designs which were showcased at the IIJW 2014 was paired with the colour black which thus brought out more of a look. The belts of these models were carefully intricate with diamond/white stones too that added to the beauty of the jewellery they were sporting. Head gears and long belly necklaces too were a major part of the collection featured at IIJW 2014.
