ICW 2014: Sheer & Ruffles By Varun Bahl Collection
Varun Bahl's collection at ICW 2014 was indeed a surprise. When the lights got dim and the models stepped out on the ramp, we could only see a lot of bold, sober and vibrant colours mixed into one. In the words of Varun Bahl, his collection is entirely related to today's woman, who loves to play around with colours and assortment of fashion.
If you take a close look at his designs, you will see that sheer was an integral part of his collection. Sheer is subtly covered with floral patterns and embroidery. Apart from this, ruffle necklines and patterns were also given importance.
On day 3 of the ICW 2014, Varun Bahl's collection was the most talked about. More than his sense of style on these attires, it was the concept which grabbed attention.
If you want to see how Varun Bahl linked his collection with sheer and ruffles, here are some of the designs on the ramp at ICW 2014 which will make you gape in amazement!

Hot Black
A combination of ruffles and sheer was seen in this piece. A wrap around printed skirt layered over cigarette pants defined this stunning outfit.

Touch Of Silver
What caught our attention is the printed leaf pattern in silver over the see through sheer black top. A bronze coat covered most of the essentials.

Talk About Net V/S Sheer
The minor boat neck pattern of this asymmetrical dress was eye-catching. Moreover, we loved the combination of the two materials - sheer and net.

Sheer Choli
This saree from Varun Bahl's collection made our jaws drop. The sheer choli and the heavy print on the sleeves was a neat thought.

Bringing Out The Assets
A wonderful way to hide a bosom! The pattern on the bodice of the sheer top looked dramatic with the grey floral bottom skirt.

Touch Of Colours
Not only the bright lemon skirt, but also the sheer top worn with the piece took our breath away. Boldsky loved the floral heavy work on the top, giving way to the model's blue undergarments.

Sheer Luck!
It was only the sleeves which was entitled to sheer. The entire top was heavy with embroidery and print. The red touch to the outfit was a killer on the ramp!
