ICW 2014: Bollywood Showstoppers On The Ramp

At the India Couture Week (ICW) 2014, we saw a few Bollywood celebrities grab the limelight. Walking the ramp with pride and honour in Indian designers' collections, some of these Bollywood stars swept the audience off their feet.

The ICW 2014 commenced with Sabyasachi's collection which saw a wide range of colours, prints and glitzy thread work. Rani Mukherji who was at ICW 2014 on day 1 to cheer for her favourite designer Sabyasachi was seen in an outfit by him.

Most of the designers showcased designs that were truly out of this world. From sheer, tulle, lace, satin to silk -- these fabrics were cleverly used in the making of their splendid designs. Moreover, we also got to see erotic accessories and prints from designers such as Gaurav Gupta and Manish Arora.

Malaika Arora Khan & Nimrat Kaur For Rina Dhaka

Rina Dhaka showcased some of her collections on two showstoppers, Malaika Arora Khan and Nimrat Kaur. Malaika Arora Khan wore a chiffon and tulle saree which was out of this world and Nimrat Kaur wore a red hot lehenga that had a similar design of Malaika's choli.

Kangana Ranaut For Anju Modi

Kangana Ranaut was the ‘Queen' and the bride for Anju Modi's ICW 2014 collection titled ‘Manikarnika'. She wore a bluish black lehenga that a full-sleeved crop top.

Lisa Haydon For Monisha Jaising

As the celebrity showstopper, she was dressed in a fit and flare black leather lehenga skirt that had exquisite golden embroidery. The top was not a conventional choli but white collared shirt that was tied up to the waist.

Shraddha Kapoor For Gaurav Gupta

Shraddha Kapoor who was the center of attention on the ramp at Gaurav Gupta show at ICW 2014 grabbed a lot of eye balls being the Bollywood showstopper for his collection.

Alia Bhatt For Manish Malhotra

Alia Bhatt walked down the ramp in a red full-sleeved choli with a tie-up dori behind. She also wore a red lehenga that had a flare and golden embroidery. She wore no jewellery and carries a completely sheer drape.

Aditya Roy Kapoor For Manish Malhotra

Aditya Roy Kapoor who was dressed in wide bottom pajamas and a cream coloured bandhgala looked dapper on the ramp.

Huma Qureshi For Rimple & Harpreet

Huma was dressed in a low-cut back choli with full-sleeves. There seems to be printed details on the brown georgette lehenga choli. There is also a hint of mirror work in the outfit. Huma draped the dupatta in an interesting style over her shoulders so that she could sway as she walked the ramp.

Ileana D'cruz For Narula & Sulakshana

The beautiful Ileana D'cruz who gracefully walked the ramp in a hot pink gown saree was breath-taking.

Bipasha Basu For FDCI Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers

Her plunging neckline was enhanced with semi gems, emeralds and a gigantic pendant. This bride who took the grand finale ramp at ICW 2014 made sure she was the center of attention. The gold borders on her dupatta which was placed on her head added more glamour to her heavy jewels by Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers.
