Sonam Kapoor Stuns In Pernia Qureshi

Sonam Kapoor was spotted at the book launch of 'Be Stylish with Pernia Qureshi' written by Pernia Qureshi. The actress looked gorgeous wearing a Pernia Qureshi designed saree at the launch. Sonam Kapoor looked splendid in a plain silk saree.

Pernia Qureshi is a fashion stylist and costume designer who has launched her first book, 'Be Stylish with Pernia Qureshi' and celebrity friend Sonam Kapoor has unveiled the designer's book at the launch. Pernia is the designer who styled Sonam in the movies Aisha and Thank You.

Sonam Kapoor wore a plain crepe saree that had silk borders on it. Sonam wore the pink saree with a white tube blouse. The plain saree looked stylish with the patterned blouse. However, Sonam Kapoor who wears extremely stylish accessories made the plain saree look even more fashionable with the necklace.

We would hesitate to wear a green necklace with a plain baby pink saree, however, Sonam Kapoor has worn this colour combination the best way possible! Sonam accessorised the Pernia Qureshi designed saree with an emerald and diamond necklace that was in black metal. Sonam Kapoor wore matching jhumkas to accessorise the look.

What looked more different with the desi look of Sonam Kapoor was the hairdo. The short vintage fringes of the hair bun gave the illusion of mushroom cut. The vintage style hairdo looked classy with the plain saree. Seems like plain saree are back in the fashion chart and wearing the silk or crepe plain saree was something that was ruled in the late 80s.

Sonam Kapoor seems to be going desi these days. Last time we spotted Sonam Kapoor wearing a light grey coloured Suneet Verma saree with a heavy off-shoulder blouse at Pammi Singh's birthday bash.

When compared to Suneet Verma saree, the Pernia Qureshi saree looked more gorgeous on this style icon. Sonam Kapoor definitely knows how to style a desi look and boost the personality the right way!
