LFW 2013: Juhi Walks For Shruti Sancheti

On Day 4 of LFW 2013, a celebration of Indian textiles is taking place. The day began with a workshop that helps to understand Indian textiles. Through out Day 4 of LFW 2013, different types of Indian textiles and designs were presented. From the side of Maharashtra we had Shruti Sanheti presenting a very delightful collection.

Shruti Sancheti's fabrics were pure checked cottons. And her designs were decidedly Maharashtrain. Most of the designs are from a warm colour palate. The warm colours are give the Shruri Sancheti a very distinct effect.

Juhi Chawla was the showstopper for Shrui Sancheti on the ramp of LFW 2013. Juhi Chawla looked stunning in a maroon floor length anarkali dress. Juhi Chawla wore a nath and a gold necklace that was typically Maharashtrian. Juhi's dress was trimmed with purple.

Pink Anarkali Suit

This cotton anarkali suit has many colours but pink is the dominant colour. The dress is embroidered with golden beads.

Asymmetrical Kurta

This kurta has been scooped and given an asymmetrical cut. The pink cotton fabric is trimmed with a black border.

Purple Anarkali

Pure cotton fabrics looks great in rich purple colour. This fabric has golden dots on it and is open from the front.

Sleeveless Purple Dress

This is one of the best cotton dresses in the collection. The purple fabric is trimmed brown and yellow. The sleeveless dress has a side slit.

Upturned Collar

The striped purple and pink fabric of this outfit is enchanting. And the red collar is upturned in the style of a coat.

Black Dhoti

This outfit is very classy with a black dhoti with golden borders and the kurta is a sheer black in colour.

Pink n Purple Anarkali

The showstopper, Juhi Chawla wore a pink anarkali dress trimmed with purple and gold embroidery.
