Cannes Day 2: Vidya Balan Imitates Sonam
Vidya Balan's Cannes Day 2 was not as disastrous as the day one. Thankfully she did not put on another dull looking lehenga for the second day of Cannes 2013. Vidya Balan's look at Cannes has been pretty predictable so far. She has been seen wearing lehengas and sarees from her favourite fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Even on Day of Cannes, Vidya Balan wore a Sabyasachi saree. This matte gold saree with a golden border was by far the best saree worn by Vidya Balan at Cannes. We also loved the full sleeved red blouse with which she wore her saree. The blouse also had bits of golden embroidery on it. All in all, this ensemble was passably good.
But apart from her predictable traditional style and her choice of designer, Vidya did something that shocked us. We saw Vidya Balan wear a nose ring to complete her desi look. But doesn't that sounds a bit deja vu? This is because Sonam Kapoor wore a similar nathni or nose ring with her Anamika Khanna saree on day 1 of Cannes 2013. Then would it be fair to say that Vidya Balan imitated Sonam's style statement?
Vidya Balan's Cannes day 2 look was accessoried with colourful beads. She carrioed the same middle-parted hairstyle. Here are some snapshot from her look on day 2 of Cannes 2013.

Vidya Balan In Sabyasachi Saree
There are no points for guessing what saree Vidya wore at the Jeune & Jolie at Cannes. It was a splendid Sabyasachi saree.

Vidya's Full Sleeved Blouse
Full-sleeved blouses are now becoming a trademark of Vidya Balan. She wore a red coloured, closed neck blouse with a bit of golden embroidery with her saree.

Vidya Balan's Nose Ring
In a surprising fashion move, Vidya Balan wore a nathni or nose ring to complete her ethnic look.

Vidya's Colourful Beads
Vidya Balan's developed a fascination for colourful beads these days. She wore a lovely cobalt blue beads and also wore a single string of red beads to go along with it.

Vidya's Potli Purse
Vidya Balan carried a very enthnic looking potli as her purse. This potli purse was red embroidered with gold to match her saree.

Vidya Imitates Sonam
Vidya Balan's nose ring bore a sharp similarity with Sonam Kapoor's look on day one of Cannes.
