Shruti Hassan At SIIMA Awards
SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) is a prestigious function that honours talent in the film industry. All the gorgeous celebrities from the South Indian film industry attend this award function. The event is held on different locations every year. SIIMA Awards 2012 was held in Dubai. Celebrities in different shades of colours and style were spotted at the red carpet. Shruti Hassan has been highly covered by the paparazzi for her thigh slit black gown that almost resembled Angelina's trademark thigh high slit gown at Grammy Awards.
Angelina Jolie wore a thigh high slit gown at the Grammy Awards 2012 red carpet that became a rage on twitter. Her right leg was flaunted with style in this outfit. After the success of thigh view gown, this pattern has become a trend in the fashion world. Even at Cannes 2012, Freida Pinto was seen wearing only thigh high slit gowns in different colours and shades.
Shruti Rajalakshmi Hassan is the daughter of famous celebrity couple, Kamal Hassan and Sarika. The star is slim and tall; a perfect personality to carry any sort of outfit. On the first day, Shruti wore a black coloured thigh high slit gown. The gown was designed by Gauri and Nainika. The thigh slit gown of Shruti Hassan was off shoulder and looked great on the hour glass figure of the celebrity. The outfit was teamed up with a tip-toed black Dior shoes and a clutch. Red lipstick and semi-open hair looked marvelous on the diva. Shruti almost copied the same makeup and red lipstick that Angelina had done for Grammy.
Later Shruti wore a different outfit for the red carpet of the SIIMA Awards. The stunning diva wore an Atsu Sekhose burgundy coloured gown. The sequined burgundy gown with a transparent neck design looked striking. Matte makeup, dark lip gloss and wavy hairstyle added a spark to the breathtaking outfit. The shimmery fish cut gown looked perfect for the evening.
Apart from Shruti Hassan, Asin, Shriya Saren, Ramya, Sridevi, Haripriya, Diksha, Trisha Krishnan, Sameera Reddy and many more were present at the event. Celebrities in both traditional and western outfits attended the SIIMA Awards 2012. However, the thigh slit gown of Shruti which resembled Angelina Jolie's Versace gown was a big hit for the event.
