Sania Mirza: Before N After Marriage
We often think that a sports-person cannot become a fashionista. But, there are many fashionable sports players who compete strongly and equally with the most glamorous celebs. Take David Beckham, Ronaldo, Virat Kohli or Dhoni for example. They are handsome, fashionable and popular sportsmen.
It is not that a sports player can not be multi-talented. There are few Indian sports-persons who have proved their worth in the world of fashion. Be it men or women, we all never expect to see players on the ramp! Take the example of Sania Mirza or Mary Kom for a moment. Recently, these two sportswomen from different fields have walked the ramp for famous fashion designers.
Sania Mirza is a lawn tennis player whereas Mary is an Olympic gold medalist. Mary has recently walked the ramp at the Mijwan Sonnets in Fabric 2012. Dressed in a pink full length anarkali suit, Mary looked feminine and classy. No one can say that boxing makes you look manly! Even Sania has been seen doing catwalk on the ramp at a few events. Earlier, we saw Sania at the Blenders Pride fashion Tour 2012 and then we spotted her on the ramp at the Global Peace Fashion Show.
Sania was the first Indian woman to bring the nose ring back in fashion. Remember how the media covered her marriage to Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik? Even fashion designers would like to dress these famous players who have made the country proud with their talent. When talking about fashion and dressing sense, Sania was not that trendy earlier. However, her style quotient changed with the fame and money that flowed in! Lets take a look at Sania Mirza before and after her marriage.
