A G-string is an underwear that has just a single string where the backside of your panty should have been. So, it leaves your hips bare while providing the necessary support. Beach Wear: Never dream of going to a beach with at least a couple of thongs in your bag. These types of panties are totally necessary to go with beach wear. You may be wearing a loose summer dress, but your panty will still show when you get wet and the soaking dress sticks to you.

Short Dresses: It is absolutely mandatory for women to wear thongs under short dresses for skirts. This is mainly for aesthetic purposes. You will not look impressive if your dress gets pulled up and you are seen in sagging panties. With short dresses, these panties are safe. It is more about how you feel about yourself.
