Colours For Dark Complexion

Dark complexion too has different tones which can be divided into cool tone, warm tone and mixed tone.
Colours For Dark Complexion -
1.Cool Tone – Cool tone is a deep dark complexion. Colours for dark complexion with the cool tone are red, pink, blue, lavender and mauve. These colours compliment this skin tone. The shades of these colours,however, need to be mild and better if it has a matte finish. Red can be a tricky colour. There are various different shades of red. Choose the one with a matte finish. For colours like pink, avoid baby pink. Go for the lightest shade. Blue compliments dark complexion very well and mauve is the the best color.
2.Warm Tone – Warm tone is lighter than the cool tone and is sometimes called dusky. Colours which go well with this tone are orange, yellow and apricot colours. The skin tone is called warm and thus, the shade of this colour should also be warm rather than bright. Out of the three yellow and apricot are preferred colours. If you can't decide on the shades of yellow and orange, it's best to stick to earthy colours like brown, light green etc. While shades of orange and yellow can be for your casual look, earthy colours are best for formal look. Silvery white may also look good.
3.Mixed Tone – Mixed tone is a lighter shade which is not fair but is lighter than being dusky. Colours for dark complexion which is in the category of the mixed tone, can flaunt colours on the brighter side. Colours like dark blue, bright pink and lemon yellow will look good.
