Homemade Aloe Vera Moisturiser For Oily Skin

If you have an oily skin, then you might be knowing how difficult it is to manage it, isn't it? Also, you might be under the notion that applying moisturiser makes the skin even more oily and greasy. But applying moisturiser is necessary for the skin as it makes the skin hydrated even if it is prone to acne and pimples.

However, you cannot use any moisturiser available if you have an oily skin. For a greasy skin it is suitable to use gel-based moisturisers. And here we'll tell you how to make a homemade moisturiser for oily skin which is based on a key ingredient, that is, aloe vera. Aloe vera is known for its natural healing and hydrating properties.

1/3 cup aloe vera gel
½ tbsp argan oil
5-6 drops tea tree essential oil
5-6 drops rose essential oil

How to do

Take a fresh aloe vera leaf and cut it in order to scoop out the gel from it. Transfer this in a clean bowl. You can also use the ready-made aloe vera gel available in the market if you don't have fresh aloe vera leaf.

Add argan oil, rose essential oil and tea tree essential oil into the bowl and blend all the ingredients well. Mix it in such a way that you get a creamy gel finally. You can store this in a glass jar away from the sunlight and use it for 3-4 weeks.

Take some of this moisturiser and apply it on your skin at least twice a day in the morning and at night before going to bed for a smooth and supple skin.
