Quick Home Remedies To Treat Under-The-Skin Pimples

Under the skin or blind pimples can be hard to get rid off; however, with these simple home remedies you could get rid of the condition easily without facing any side effects.

Pimples are not only unpleasant, but they also add pain to the problem and may also affect the rest of your skin. Blind pimple is more painful because it is deep within the skin, closed by nerves, thus increasing the pain and inflammation even more.

Pimple, which occurs under the skin, is also called blind pimple because these types of pimples are found under the skin, which produces extra oil on the face and thereby leads to clogged pores.

These types of pimples are generally red in colour and contain no pus, but can be really painful to deal with. If you want to get rid of the pimple under the skin, here are simple remedies to treat the same. Take a look.

1. Tea Tree Oil

Due to antibacterial properties in tea tree oil, it helps to prevent an appearance of acne and pimples under the skin layers. It helps to kill the bacteria, further preventing outbreaks on the face. Take a cotton swab, dip it in tea tree oil and apply it on your skin. While dealing with a pimple, acne or zit under the skin, always keep your hands away. Tea tree oil helps to heal the blind pimple by unclogging the pores and controlling the production of oil on the face.

Milk works as a mild cleanser on the skin, which helps to prevent pimples under the skin. Due to alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) present in raw milk, it can help to open the clogged pores by removing the outer layer of the dead skin. It also helps to remove the accumulated dirt on the skin and prevents accumulation of the excess oil. Take a cotton ball, soak in milk and remove the excess milk. Now, apply this on the blind acne. Once applied, leave it for 10 minutes and then wash off with cold water. Use this remedy twice or thrice in a week and get clear and glowing skin.

Due to antibacterial and antiseptic properties found in honey, it can help to fight against the bacteria which are responsible for a pimple under the skin. Apply a small amount of honey on the acne and leave it for some time. Wash off with lukewarm water after 20-30 minutes. Repeat doing this process thrice in a day to get rid of the blind pimple easily.

Mashed apple also proves to be beneficial for under-the-skin pimple. Due to Vitamins and essential fibres present in mashed apple, it can help to treat the blind acne. Blend one apple into a pulp. Add one drop of tea tree oil and one spoon of honey to the apple mask. Apply this paste on the face and wash off after 15 minutes. This will help you to treat the blind pimple effectively at home.

5. Toothpaste

For some people, toothpaste is the most effective remedy that can help to treat skin acne. However, using toothpaste for blind pimple should be prevented by people with sensitive skin, as it may lead to irritation, itching, and breakouts on the skin. You should use toothpaste with clove oil or mint, as it can work effectively under the skin to treat the acne. Take a small amount of toothpaste and apply this on your blind pimple. Leave it overnight and wash off in the morning. Repeat this remedy twice in a week to prevent blind pimples under the skin.

6. Lemon Juice

Due to anti-inflammatory and Vitamin C present in lemon juice, it can help to prevent an appearance of under-the-skin acne and also controls the production of oil on the face. Prolong use of lemon can help to prevent breakouts on the face and also prevent an occurrence of bacteria. Apply some lemon juice on the face and allow it to dry on its own. Wash off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes. Use this remedy two to three times in a day to get best results in a week.

Epsom salt is another effective remedy that can help to treat blind pimple. It helps to deal with the inflammation and pain caused by the acne. Take one spoon of Epsom salt and mix it with half a cup of hot water. Now, apply this mixture on the affected area and allow it to dry for some time. After it dries, wash off with water. Using this remedy twice or thrice in a day can prevent the acne from popping out.
