DIY: Sea Salt Body Scrubs For Flawless Skin
Check out the recipes for sea salt body scrubs that can improve your skin’s health and texture, and try them out.
Sea salt is a treasure trove of skin-improving features. This traditional skin care ingredient can treat a myriad of conditions and help you achieve a flawless-looking skin.
Sea salt can come to your skin's rescue and help it become clean and clear. This famous component is loaded with powerful antioxidants and exfoliating agents that can eliminate toxins and impurities from your skin. More often than not, these impurities make your skin prone to infections and ruin its natural beauty.
To ensure that your skin stays dirt free, you should use sea salt to exfoliate your skin. And the best way to do that would be by combining it with other natural ingredients that too possess exfoliating properties.
Unlike the commercial body scrubs, these scrubs are easy-to-make and wallet-friendly.
Here, we've listed the recipes for a few sea salt body scrubs that can improve your skin's health and texture.
Note: It is recommended to test any of the following homemade scrubs on a patch of skin prior to applying it all over.
1. Sea Salt + Coconut Oil
Mix 2 tablespoons of sea salt with 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil. Slather the resulting scrub onto your skin and massage for 5-10 minutes before washing it off with tepid water. Usage of this homemade scrub on a weekly basis can get the gunk out from your skin and help it become clean and clear.
2. Sea Salt + Coffee Grounds
In a bowl, put 3 tablespoons of sea salt, 2 teaspoons of coffee grounds and 2 tablespoons of distilled water. Stir with a spoon to mix the components. Scrub the material onto your skin and rub it gently for a little while. Afterwards, wash with tepid water. Remove the dead skin cells from your skin by using this scrub on a biweekly basis.
3. Sea Salt + Lemon Juice
Merge 3 tablespoons of sea salt with 4 tablespoons of lemon juice. Smear the material on your skin and gently rub it for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off with room temperature water. Biweekly application of this fabulous homemade body scrub can lighten your skin's complexion and combat dullness.
4. Sea Salt + Oatmeal and Olive Oil
Take 1 tablespoon of oatmeal and mix it with 3 tablespoons of sea salt and 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Gently scrub the resulting concoction on your skin. After scrubbing for about 10-15 minutes, you can use tepid water to rinse off the residue. Twice a month, use this body scrub to ensure that your skin stays well-moisturized at all times.
5. Sea Salt + Brown Sugar and Rose Water
Create this next body scrub by mixing 2 tablespoons of sea salt, 3 teaspoons of brown sugar and 4 tablespoons of rose water. Once mixed, scrub the prepared material all over your skin. Gently scrub for about 10 minutes. Then, rinse your skin with normal water. Soften your skin's texture by using this body scrub on a monthly basis.
6. Sea Salt + Apple Cider Vinegar
Make this skin-improving scrub by merging 3 tablespoons of sea salt with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of distilled water. Tenderly scrub the material onto your skin and let it stay there for a good 10 minutes prior to taking a shower with tepid water. Get super supple skin by using this wonderful body scrub on a biweekly basis.
7. Sea Salt + Aloe Vera Gel
Thoroughly mix 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with 4 tablespoons of sea salt. Once prepared, you can spread it all over your skin and scrub gently for about 5 minutes before washing it off with tepid water. Help your skin get rid of dark spots by using this body scrub on a weekly basis.
8. Sea Salt + Almond Oil
Prepare this next incredible body scrub by mixing 3 tablespoons of sea salt and 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Tenderly scrub it all over your skin for about 10 minutes before washing it away with tepid water. Attain flawless-looking skin by using this easy-to-make sea salt scrub on a weekly basis.
