DIY Facial Peels To Get Healthy And Soft Skin

Chemical or facial peels are one among the common skin treatments that are opted for by women who generally have a dry or dull-looking skin.

The facial peels help to tighten your skin naturally and promote a younger-looking and glowing skin. There are two types of peels that are available in the market, namely, mild peels which are made of a fruit base acid, and strong ones which contain vinegar or a high amount of phenol in them.

The type of peel that should be used on the skin depends on your skin type and skin problem. One among the popular type of peels which is usually opted by everyone is a homemade peel.

Homemade peels make sure that they do not contain harsh ingredients that may damage your skin. Homemade peels are the best type of peels that can be used on all skin types and can treat several skin problems as well.

So, here are some easy homemade peels that you can opt for to get a glowing and healthy skin, take a look.

1. Aspirin Peel

Take 10-15 tablets of aspirin and melt them in a small quantity of water. Once the tablets become soft, mash them with the help of a spoon to make a thick paste. Now add one spoon of honey and one spoon of glycerine to it.

Mix the ingredients together and apply this on your face. Make sure you spread the mixture properly and wait until the peel dries off completely. Peel it out and wash off.

Using this peel can help to give you a healthy, glowing and soft skin. It helps to heel acne scars and stretch marks easily.

Take one cup of lemon juice and add one cup of orange juice to it. Now, heat the juice mixture in the oven and wait until the mixture boils completely. Then, add three spoons of gelatine and stir it properly.

Make sure the gelatine melts totally and then apply this peel on the skin. Allow the mixture to dry, peel it and wash off with cold water.

Pat dry and moisturise with a mild cream. This facial peel is excellent for people with an oily or acne-prone skin.

Take one cucumber and mash it properly. You can also grind it to make a thick paste. Now, add one spoon of gelatine and two spoons of any essential oil of your choice.

Add one spoon of lemon juice and one spoon of cinnamon powder to it as well. Mix all the ingredients together and wait until the gelatine melts completely. Add water if needed.

Now spread this mixture on your face and wait until it dries. Wait for 20-30 minutes, peel it and wash off with lukewarm water. Pat dry and moisturise your skin. Cucumber peel can be used by anyone, as it suits all skin types.

Take five spoons of apple cider vinegar, add one spoon of cinnamon, one spoon of aloe vera gel and some gelatine.

Mix all the ingredients together and allow the gelatine to melt completely. Clear your face with a toner and pat dry. Now, spread this mixture on the face and wait until it gets dried. Avoid the eye area.

Peel it off and wash your face with cold water. Pat dry using a soft towel. Using this mask once in a week can help to keep your skin soft and smooth.

Apple cider vinegar is good for normal skin type and should be prevented by people with a sensitive skin.

Baking soda chemical peel is for those who deal with an itchy skin. It helps to treat dry, dull or an acne-prone skin as well. Take one spoon of baking soda and add some water to it. Mix them together and keep it aside.

Now take 10-15 aspirin tablets and place in the baking soda mixture. Allow the aspirin tablets to melt completely and then spread this peel on the face.

If needed, you can also add two spoons of lemon juice to it. Because baking soda and aspirin are great sources of salicylic acid, this facial peel can help to control oiliness on the skin.
