We all want to be blessed with youthful, glowing skin, or to at least delay all the signs of ageing, till it is actually time for ageing to occur, don't we? Our skin heals and repairs itself during the night. So, it is best to have a night-time skin care ritual and follow certain tips for youthful skin.
In our twenties, our skin tends to look perfect and beautiful. Twenties are indeed the peak time for amazing skin.
But, it is also important to start taking care of your skin with extra attention in your twenties itself. We know it seems unimportant, as skin tends to look so great without much effort.

1. Remove Makeup:
Always, always remove your makeup before you go to bed. We know you can get lazy at the end of the day. Removing your makeup is really important, as makeup and the dirt collected on your face, throughout the day, can clog up your pores overnight and cause breakouts. If you are too lazy, then keep makeup-removing wipes handy.
2. Wash Your Face:
Even if you are not washing your face during the day, do wash it at night. This step should be like the second nature for you. Use a gentle face wash. This is one of the most important skin care tips to follow for youthful skin.
3. Tone:
Most people don't understand the importance of toning. After all, toners look like water. How useful could it be? Wrong! Toners help level out the pH balance of the skin and help shrink large pores. Pretty important step now, if you ask us.
4. Moisturise:
Your night moisturiser has to be different from your day moisturiser. The night cream or serum is supposed to heal and repair the skin overnight, so invest in one accordingly. Whereas, day creams and lotions should have SPF to protect you from sun damage.
5. Eye Cream:
An under-eye cream is really important in your twenties, as the skin in the under-eye area is the thinnest and the most sensitive. It is also the area to start showing signs of ageing at the earliest. Massage on the eye cream every night.
6. Sleep Position:
Try to sleep on your back as much as possible. Sleeping with your face in the pillow can actually give you more wrinkles and breakouts. Follow this tip and you'll be thankful for having clear skin.
7. Hydration:
Keep a bottle of water at your bedside, and keep drinking on it during the night. This is a difficult habit to get into, but once you get into the habit, it'll be difficult not to do this. It helps you wake up feeling a lot fresher, plus it helps avoid the bad morning breath.
