Take a teaspoon of sandalwood powder and mix half a teaspoon of turmeric and a teaspoon of lemon juice to form a paste. Use this as a pack on your facial skin for 10 minutes. This pack can help reduce your acne breakouts and also minimise inflammation.


Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, try this mask. Mix turmeric powder and sandalwood powder in equal proportions and mix some orange juice to the mixture.


Dry Skin

For dry skin issues, try this pack. Take a teaspoon of turmeric and mix a few drops of olive oil and lemon juice. Use this mixture on your face and wash it after 10 minutes.



Mix milk and tomato juice in turmeric powder and use the mixture as a face pack. Wash your face after 15 minutes and see whether your skin appears firm.


Stretch Marks

If nothing else has worked on your stretch marks, try this remedy. In a teaspoon of turmeric, add some milk and besan powder and try this paste on the marks. Wash after 10 minutes. If you try this remedy every weekend for a few weeks, you may observe some improvement.



As turmeric is anti-septic, it is used to heal skin. In case of burns, use turmeric powder along with aloe vera paste on the affected area.


Skin Whitening

Simply mix sandalwood powder, turmeric powder and a few drops of milk and use it as a face pack for 7 minutes and wash your face. Your skin glows soon after.
