Simple Tips To Get Rid Of Oily Skin
Many women experience problems with oily skin. Acne, pimples and such related problems arise due to too much of oil on the skin. There are a number of factors which causes skin to produce excess oil. In teenagers, oily skin is usually the result of hormonal changes. However factors such as humidity, excessive smoking, pregnancy, menopause etc. can also be the cause of oily skin.
Whatever is the reason, oily skin can be a real nuisance. Your skin becomes more prone to acne, pimples, large pores and your makeup doesn't stick for long! So, you need to get rid of the excess oil effectively from your skin to make it glow. You just have to follow some cleansing rituals meticulously to get that bright and glowing skin.

Wash Your Face
To get rid of the excess oil, you need to wash your face at least twice daily. Use warm water and a gel based cleanser to remove the oil. Do not wash your face too frequently as it may take away the natural moisture from your skin.

Type Of Skin Products
Water based skin care products do not contain oil. They help in controlling the amount of sebum secreted by your skin. Avoid using alcohol based toners. They tend to make your skin dry and rough. Use mattifying lotions and natural moisturizers.

Avoid Liquid Makeup
Try using powder based cosmetic products. They give your face a matte look. Liquid makeup will clog the pores and cause blemishes.

Exfoliate
Exfoliate regularly to remove the dead cells from your skin. It will also help in unclogging the pores which is the major cause of acne. Apply clay masks to effectively remove extra oil from your face. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to make your mask more effective. Tea tree oil has excellent astringent, antiseptic and anti bacterial properties.

Diet
Eat more vegetables, fruits and juices. Include whole grains and protein in your diet to get rid of the oily skin.

Avoid Stress
Stress can cause hormonal imbalance and cause the body to secrete extra oil. Therefore you need to work on reducing your stress levels. Try meditation and yoga to deal with stress. You will be surprised by the benefits of it.
