A DIY Cleansing Balm That Will Melt Your Make-up Off Smoothly In A Few Seconds
There is nothing more relaxing than getting the make-up off at the end of the day, wash your face and hit the bed, is there? Sleeping with a clean and make-free face is also important to keep your skin in optimal health. But, there are certain make-up products that won't come off easily. The formulation of these make-up products is to blame. Waterproof make-up products generally tend to be stubborn. No matter how much make-up remover you use, the product is never completely removed. Being harsh to your skin to get the make-up off does no good for your skin. So, how do you deal with this stubborn make-up then? Cleansing balm comes to your rescue at times like these.
With a lip balm-like texture, a cleansing balm is messaged into the skin to melt your make-up and give you a clear make-up-free face. It works like magic. But these nourishing cleansing balms can cost a bunch. And that stops us from buying one. Well, not anymore! Today, we have a DIY cleaning balm for you that is just as effective as any store-bought make-up product and won't cost you much. Excited yet? Well, before we move on to the DIY, let's get to cleansing balms a little more.
What Is A Cleansing Balm?
Cleansing balms are the latest craze in skin cleansers and make-up removers. The magic of cleansing balm is in its formulation. It contains a mixture of oils, waxes and emulsifiers that make it a solid product instead of liquid like most of your make-up removers.
The concept of using a cleansing balm is similar to double-cleansing. The two kinds of facial cleansers used in double cleansing ensure that both oil-based and water-based products and residue are pulled out of the skin to make it clean and fresh. In a similar fashion, cleansing balm aims to gets absorbed into your skin and dissolve the stubborn oil-based products and remove it effortlessly from your skin.
If you are a regular user of make-up, you must keep a cleansing balm handy at all time. And now, moving on to the DIY.
