Makeup brushes should be cleansed once in a month and if you use them every day, they should be cleansed once in a week. Makeup brushes are made with delicate natural bristles and hence there are high chances for the brush to get ruined. You should clean your makeup brushes regularly with coconut oil or a baby shampoo.

2. Eyelash Curler

Eyelash curler is the best tool that can help to curl the eyelashes properly and also give you excellent results. You should clean the eyelash curler in lukewarm water. Add some lemon juice in the water and soak the eyelash curler in it. Also, make sure you replace the rubber pads after a few months.

3. Hair Brush

Hair brush should be cleansed at least once in a month because dirt and dust get accumulated on the pad on the brush, which gets transferred on to your hair. Apart from this, hair brush also tends to develop chemical build-ups, thus damaging your hair. So, wash hair brush in shampoo water and lay it flat to dry. Allow the brush to dry under natural air.

4. Hair Dryer

Most of them use a hair dryer but forget to clean it regularly. You should clean the vent of the dryer with the help of a toothbrush, so that the dust accumulated can be taken out. Also, prevent storing a hair dryer in open, so that the dust does not get accumulated near the vent and fan of the dryer.

5. Hairsprays

We have been using hair spray since many years, but do we clean them? Well, hair sprouts contain a lot of dirt and bacteria accumulated. You can generally see a layer of dirt getting accumulated on the sprouts of the hairspray, which may prove to be dangerous. Just take one wet wipe and clean the area. Just like makeup brushes, makeup sponges should also be cleaned. Makeup sponges should be cleaned once in a week if you are using them regularly. Clean them in shampoo or soap water and dry them under natural air. If you are using heavy makeup on the makeup sponge, you should consider cleaning them regularly. Prevent drying the makeup sponges directly under the sunlight.

7. Makeup Blender

Another important makeup product in our vanity kit is the makeup blender. Makeup blender is the recent makeup tool that is gaining attention due to its amazing effects on the skin. However, just like other makeup tools, makeup blender should also be cleaned. You should clean the makeup blender in lukewarm water. Take a brush and swirl it around the makeup blender. It helps to remove the excess dirt, oil, and makeup that is accumulated on the tip of the blender.

8. Hair Straightener

Generally, you can see a black layer on the aluminium plates of the hair straightener. This black layer is seen when the hair straightener is not cleansed. However, this build-up can be easily wiped off using baking soda or alcohol. Prevent rubbing or scratching the plates of the hair straightener aggressively. It may destroy or ruin the aluminium plates, thus minimizing the effects on the hair.
