Quick Ways Of Using Kajal For Eyes
Kajal or black kohl is one of the most universal means of doing eye makeup. Even before the cosmetic brands came up with eye liners and mascaras, women used kajal for their eyes. Kajal can be made at home simply by collecting soot from an oil lamp. So use of kajal for eyes predates makeup as such. Even ancient civilisations have references to the use of black kohl.
So as kajal is so rudimentary for all eye makeup ideas, it occupies a very special place. Using kajal for eyes is very easy and consumes little time. That is why, most women prefer kajal over other types of eye makeup. If you use eye liner in your eye makeup ideas, it will take time to dry up. And you also have to be careful with liquid eye liners as they smudge or get disfigured. But using kajal for eyes is easy.
All you need to do with black kohl is to dab it on your eyes. You can highlight your beauty in an instant. However, just because it is so easy to use kajal for eye makeup, it does not mean that your look will be monotonous. You can find many different ways to use kajal to get a different look every single day.
Here are some ideas to use kajal for eyes. They are quick and effective as well.

Basic Kajal
When you have no time to think, then draw two equally thick lines over your upper and lower lash lines. This is how a basic kajal look goes. It will simply darken and highlight your eyes.

Rimmed Eyes
Cover your upper lash line till the edge of your eyes like a rim. Then add a double coat of black kohl. This is the rimmed eye makeup. The kajal covers your eyes like a virtual rim.

Kajal With Mascara
If you team up basic kajal with lots of black mascara to make your eye lashes stiff, you can get a very striking look.

Thick Lower Lash Line
If you have light eyes and want to highlight the colour of your eyes, try this way to use kajal for your eyes. Apply a thick coat of kajal on your lower lash line and a sleek one on the upper lash line.

Thin Lines Of Kajal
If you are going to office and wish to keep your look toned down, then you should use kajal sparingly. Apply very thin lines of kohl on your upper and lower lash lines for a toned down look.

Smudged Lower Lash Line
Smokey eye makeup takes some time but this eye makeup idea is very quick. Apply some petroleum jelly on your lower lash line. Then draw a line with kajal. Now rub it gently to get the perfect smudge.

Thick Upper Lash Line
If you want to look glamourous instantly, then this is the simplest way. Apply a thick layer of kajal on your upper lash line and leave the lower lash line bare.

Partial Kajal
Start with a thin line on your upper lash line and thicken it at the edges. This partially thickened look makes your eyes look larger.

Overdone Kajal
If you want to look really dramatic without putting too much effort, kajal is your best bet. Darken your eyes with two or three layers of kajal so that they look dark. It really suits the Indian complexion.

Butterfly Eyes
Draw thick line of kajal on your upper lash line and give it a 'U' shape at the edges. This is the butterfly eye makeup.
