Sonakshi Sinha Haircare Tips: Check Out What The Actor's Favourite DIY Ingredient Is
Sonakshi Sinha has been quite transparent about her body transformation and her journey to wellness, and her Instagram feed can serve as inspiration for anyone seeking such a lifestyle.
Sonakshi sometimes shares beauty and skincare tips on her social media platforms.

Sonakshi Sinha may have entered the beauty industry with her faux nail endeavour, but a glance at her Instagram will reveal that she is also a beauty enthusiast.
Ms Sinha revealed to Vogue that she uses onion juice on her scalp to maintain her thick, beautiful locks. For years, onion juice has been used at home as a remedy for hair health, specifically for hair loss [1].
With the presence of sulphur, onion juice is used in DIY beauty recipes and products alike to strengthen hair and prevent breakage and thinning.
Here are three ways to incorporate onion into your DIY recipes.
How To Use Onion In Haircare Routine
1. Onion juice for hair loss
- Take a cotton pad and soak it in onion juice.
- To apply the onion juice to your scalp, dab it with a cotton pad.
- Once your entire scalp has been covered, massage it for a few minutes.
- You should leave the juice on for about 15 to 30 minutes.
- Use mild shampoo to wash your hair.
- Do this every alternate day.

2. Olive oil and onion juice for hair growth
- Combine the olive oil and onion juice until well blended.
- Apply it to your scalp.
- Gently massage your scalp with this mixture in circular motions.
- Allow the oil to remain on for approximately two hours.
- Use mild shampoo to wash your hair.
3. Potato and onion juice for dandruff
- Mix 2 tablespoons of potato juice and 1 tablespoon of onion juice until smooth.
- Gently massage your scalp with this mixture in circular motions after applying it to your scalp.
- For approximately ten minutes, massage your scalp.
- Use mild shampoo to wash your hair.

On A Final Note...
When it comes to your hair, onion is a safe, natural, and affordable home remedy that can help. It improves thickness, stimulates growth, and even regenerates new hair growth.
