Hair fall is something that we have all faced at least at some phase of our life and it is nothing less than a nightmare. Losing hair every day can freak you out often. Although losing up to 25-30 hair strands per day is normal, losing more than that needs the right treatment.
We are aware of various hair care products ranging for hair oils, creams, masks etc., that are available in the stores to control hair loss. But before going for such ready-made remedies it is necessary to follow some natural tips that can actually help in controlling hair loss. These tips do not involve any remedies but only simple tips that you can keep in mind in your everyday hair care routine.
Now let us see what those basic natural tips are below.
A good massage to your hair will help in promoting hair growth. You can use any essential oil of your choice for this purpose. The oil deeply penetrates the hair shaft and will keep your scalp hydrated, thus preventing hair loss. Also, oiling helps in coping with any kind of damages caused. All you have to do is take a small amount of any essential oil of your choice and slightly warm it. Apply this on your scalp and hair for a few minutes with the help of your fingertips. Again, leave it on for an hour and cover your hair with a shower cap. Later, you can wash it off with normal water.
Use Hair Mask
Your hair often loses moisture quickly. Therefore, it is important to keep it hydrated. Using natural hair masks can help you with deep conditioning your scalp and hair to give you healthy hair. You can use a simple mask made of banana and honey to condition your hair. Take a ripe banana and mash it to make a smooth paste. Add a few drops of honey into it and blend both the ingredients well. Apply this on your hair touching the roots and the tips of your hair. Wash it off with normal water after leaving it for about an hour.
Shampoo The Right Way
On the first hand, make sure that you choose the right shampoo suitable for your hair. Before shampooing your hair, comb your hair to get rid of tangles if any. Take a small amount of shampoo on your palms and rub it. Next, apply it on your hair and scalp and gently massage in a circular motion with the help of your fingertips.
Do Not Brush Wet Hair
There is a misconception that combing wet hair would help in boosting hair growth while this is not the true case. In fact, combining wet hair indeed leads to hair loss. If at all it is necessary to comb your wet hair, make sure that you use a wide comb or your fingertips to detangle your hair.
Avoid Using Hot Water
Of course, there's nothing relaxing than taking a shower in hot water. But did you know how much it can affect the health of the hair? Yes, washing your hair in hot water can often rip off the natural oils produced by the scalp and thus lead to hair breakage. Showering in cold water improves the circulation of the blood and thus helps in boosting hair growth.
