So, what are the hair troubles you are currently facing? Let's see - dry hair, dullness, split ends, dandruff, greasy scalp and - okay, let's put a stop right there!

hair oil

One article just won't be enough to accommodate all our hair troubles. And, we don't say there is a magical ingredient out there that can overnight combat them all. However, there is a hair oil that can make a difference and yes that's Avocado oil.

Avocado oil is lighter than your regular oil, and so, it gets easily absorbed into the hair, without leaving it greasy or limp. To top it off, it comes with a whole lot of other benefits.

It packs a powerful punch of vitamins A, B, D and E, which seal the moisture in the hair, cleanse the scalp of impurities, repair damaged hair follicles and add a nice shine to the locks.

Avocado also happens to be a rich source of amino acids, and it is this acid that works as keratin, giving your locks swish-worthy silkiness.

Folic acid is another component found in avocado that works as a natural SPF for hair and promotes regeneration of new hair follicles.

To boil it all down, it is like a boon to your mane. Here is the step-by-step method of making an avocado hair oil mask for thicker hair! Take a look.

Step 1:

step 1

Take a saucepan, set it to low flame. Add 3 tablespoons of avocado oil and let it simmer for a few seconds.

Step 2:

coconut oil

Add in half a cup of extra-virgin coconut oil and let it warm for 30 seconds or until it reaches a comfortable temperature. Turn off the heat and allow the oil to cool. Never apply hot oil directly onto your scalp, as it can scald your skin.

Step 3:

rosemary

Add 3 to 5 drops of rosemary oil to the herbal hair oil mask. You can also add other essential oils of your choice like lavender or almond. However, rosemary is proven quite effective in promoting scalp health.

Step 4:

comb

Using a wide-toothed comb, and remove all tangles from your locks. Hold your hair from mid-length and run the comb through the ends and then, get to the scalp, to reduce hair breakage.

Step 5:

oil

Divide your hair in small sections and then, apply the oil. Make sure the oil is still lukewarm for better penetration. Massage your scalp using the soft bud of your fingers, for 10 minutes.

Step 6:

massage

Tie your hair in a loose bun and cover your scalp with a shower cap. Let the oil saturate for an hour. Later, shampoo as usual. Avoid conditioning, as it can make your hair limp.

Step 7:

shampoo

Within first use, you will realise your hair twice as soft and shiny. And to boost hair growth, try this deep-conditioning treatment at least twice a month!
